This song from one of my favourite Sridevi-Kamal films, Sadma stayed with us forever. We kept humming this song so very often. But before drawing this cartoon I listened to this song and watched the video so many times, repeatedly. And realised, WHAT we have lost after Sridevi’s death. I had to draw this cartoon with so much grief inside, as a huge Sridevi fan. Ending the cartoon with that smile gave me relief that, wherever she is, she must be in peace with a child-like smile on her face.
